French Palais Royal Grand Tour Eglomise Tazza Compote Tray Stand

A bronze Grand Tour Tazza featuring with a reticulated mythological Bird and Flowers. The center has an Eglomise Reverse Painting of a Building.
Measures approximately, 5 ¼” x 2 ½” tall. The reverse painting measures approximately, 2 ¾” in diameter. Good used condition.
When people of sufficient means travelled Europe on “The Grand Tour” to further their education this would have been one of the beautiful souvenirs available.
