Marked "Made in Italy" under the clasp.
Measures 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" x 1 7/8".
Velvet lined interior.
Base is lined with what appears to be satin.
Miniature portrait is signed by artist.
The oval cartouche in the center of the lid is 1 1/2" x 1 13/16".
