Asian bronze Inkstand featuring geisha girl with open arms and extended fan beside her table with pierced screen in foreground. Back of the stand created to hold letters with a pedastal front rest for pen. Inkpot (no liner) and unusual in that it is hinged forwardly and designed as a desk. The Pierced backing has a open mouthed dragon on top! Measures 6 2/8" x 10 5/8" x 5 7/8". Base stamp WT & S with a sun above & RD 130347.Co-ordinating candle sticks with snuffers in anouther listing!
